Promote Normal Bone Health for A Beautiful Body with Regular Soy Enjoyment

Normal bone health is the firm foundation of a beautiful body inside and out. As we age, supporting our bones with the proper nutrition becomes more important. This is particularly true in women with the onset of menopause and the loss of estrogen production.

Diet plays an important role in promoting normal bone health. Calcium, vitamin D, and magnesium are often recommended as smart choices.

Recent research continues to suggest that regular soy protein and soy antioxidants consumption may promote normal bone health (Medical References 1-8).

In a randomized, double-blinded study, men and women consumed soy daily for one year (Medical Reference 6).

At the end of the study, researchers found that drinking an isoflavone-rich soy protein beverage promoted normal bone health in both postmenopausal women and men.

In a separate bone support study, Chinese postmenopausal women consumed soy antioxidants for six months (Medical Reference 7). Researchers noted that 126 milligrams of antioxidants per day helped support normal bone health.

Revival's naturally concentrated bars and shakes contain 160 milligrams of soy antioxidants harvested from the goodness of the soybean heart. Combined with 500 to 600 milligrams of calcium in each bar and shake, Revival is an excellent way for you to promote normal bone health for a more beautiful-looking body–inside and out!

Nails: Sneak-peek Windows to Your Health!

Many women meticulously care for the appearance of their nails - clipping, filing, buffing and polishing. Beyond cosmetic enhancement, nails can also reveal problems with our internal health. Visual changes in the appearance of our nails can indicate certain health conditions.

The Lunula - the crescent shape at the base of the nail could have implications on thyroid activity. No crescent may mean an under-active thyroid, while an oversized crescent may mean an overactive thyroid. Your thumb naturally has a larger crescent shape.

Color - healthy nails usually have a slightly lighter shade than your skin complexion. If your nail bed is especially pale, check for low iron. Red nail beds signal poor circulation or cardiovascular problems. White nails indicate possible liver trouble. Yellow-toned nails may signify a fungal infection. If the yellow color is accompanied by thickening of the nails, slowed growth and swollen hands, however, inquire about your respiratory health. If the lunula is bluish in color, you could have cardiovascular or respiratory problems.

Spots, Ridges and Pitting - blemishes or white spots could imply either an injury to the base of the nail or a nutrient deficiency. Vertical ridges are more common, usually aren't serious and may increase with age. Horizontal ridges are an indication of a nutrient deficiency. Small dents in the nail, are usually a side effect of the skin condition, psoriasis. "Beau's Lines" are long depressions that occur lengthwise on the nail after a severe illness or due to malnutrition.

Brittleness - can be caused by poor nutrition, too much sun exposure or dryness.

Be aware of visual clues from your nails. They are much more than a beauty "accessory". Ask your doctor to take a look. Reach for Revival bars and shakes to support the appearance of your nails, skin and hair!
